MEET DR ELLA

A third-generation Chinese medicine practitioner, Dr Zhang combines her background in genetics with her training in Chinese medicine

Dr Ella Zhang is a nationally AHPRA registered Acupuncturist, Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner and Dispenser, and holds a bachelor’s degree of Science from Australia National University majored in Genetics and a double degree of Bachelor of Health Science and Applied Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine from RMIT university. Ella is an accredited member of the Federation of Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture Societies of Australia (FCMA).

Dr Ella Zhang is a 3rd generation Chinese medicine practitioner, following the footsteps of her parents and grandmother. She grew up with Chinese medicine and its theories during her early life. With the background from evidence-based studies, Ella is believer of the power of natural healing along with modern research and technology. With strong passion for mental health, women’s health and sports injury management, Ella is able to combine Chinese medicine techniques with modern science to deliver effective treatments.

Alternatively, there is limited free parking available in the underground carpark at South Melbourne Central on Cecil Street. Please be aware this carpark is a 5-7-minute walk from the clinic.

Simply catch the No. 12 Tram and get off at Stop 12 (York Street/Clarendon Street). Walk down York St for 2 minutes until you reach our clinic entrance. Alternatively, you can catch No. 58 and get off at Stop 117 (York Street). Walk up York St for 4 minutes until you reach our clinic entrance.
